Since 1999, artists from all over the world have had the opportunity to create work in the quiet, beautiful setting of The Pickled Art Centre for relatively short or longer periods of time. Living and working at the Pickled Art Centre affords artists access to a wide range of art production possibilities, on-site expertise, high production standards, and access to a vast array of resources in Beijing including foundry operations such as ceramic shell and direct burnout, large scale fabricated sheet metal, carved stone and even Chinese lacquer.
